Frontiers in Translational Science - From Preclinical to Clinical Investigation

Date: 10 October to 12 October 2011

Venue: Amphitheatre, Level 2, Duke-NUS

This symposium focuses on translational medicine, particularly that which involves clinical application of advances in cellular and molecular biology and genetics. The sessions will explore investigational medicine from the vantage point of clinician scientists, and the theme running throughout the entire symposium is that of human investigation.

The objective of this gathering of investigators from throughout Singapore and Duke University is to develop further interactions between these two centers of academic medicine, and catalyze innovative collaborations to advance both the development of translational medicine for all partners and its realization for clinical application and commercialization.

Speakers from Duke University, Duke-NUS, local healthcare and research institutions, as well as the pharmaceutical industry will be sharing their insights.

We welcome all participants to this exciting event, which is designed to provide everyone with an opportunity to engage in discussions. In addition to the formal talks by leading investigators, we would particularly like to point out the workshops on the final day of the program where all attendees are encouraged to participate.

Registration is free of charge.
