
InnovFest 2012 is an exciting festival of innovation-related activities. Organised by NUS Enterprise for the third year running, this event aims to boost technology transfer, entrepreneurship and investment amongst Asia’s business, academic and technology communities. Plenary sessions, workshops and networking events will update participants on the latest trends in intellectual property management and commercialisation, as well as provide direct access to leading startups, business professionals, and investors.
Some 300-500 participants are expected to attend InnovFest 2012. These include technology transfer professionals, innovators, researchers, industry, entrepreneurs, the financial community, and government agencies. InnovFest 2012 is the must-attend event for anyone keen to know how to bring their technologies to the market, discover new innovations and meet with leaders within the technology commercialisation and entrepreneurship sectors.

18 April 2012 -Â Pre-conference workshops on Valuation by Ashley Stevens
Conducted by former AUTM President, Dr Ashley Stevens, CLP, RTTP, this all-day course is designed to provide technology transfer progessionals with the basics of technology valuation as applied to both industry and academic technology licensing.
Pre-conference workshops on topics such as valuation, negotiation, technology transfer for small businesses, and patent mapping. All workshops are designed and conducted by AUTM, LES and PatSnap.

An opportunity to present technology from your organisation to an international audience!
Click here to submit your ideas by 29 February 2012. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by 29 February 2012 and earn the opportunity to present their technology to an international audience. Candidates not selected for oral presentation may be granted presence at the conference to showcase their technology at the poster pitching arena.
Two technology pitching sessions will be held in the area of:
• Medical Devices and Diagnostics
• Clean Tech Sustainability

20 April 2012 -Â The Enterprise Connection
A networking dinner, which enables entrepreneurs, inventors, and other key stakeholders in NUS Enterprise’s global network to connect and share ideas. An internationally-recognised entrepreneur will share his/her views on entrepreneurship, through the Global Entrepreneurial Leadership speaker series. In addition, the Innovation & Enterprise Award will be given out, a prestigious award that recognizes individuals and companies within the NUS community, who have achieved significant accomplishments in innovation and entrepreneurship.
